Northern Ireland: Records Amnesty Day

Hawk Moth
Northern Ireland: Records Amnesty Day
Wednesday 18th January 2017, 10.30am-3.00pm
Ulster Museum, Belfast

CEDaR and Butterfly Conservation have organised a number of ‘data amnesty’ days to help wildlife recorders submit their data. We want your records and will give you as much help as you need to input them! We’d love to see you - just bring your- self and your notebook.

Butterfly Conservation and the Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR) have organised a series of Data Amnesty Days to encourage you to come along and enter the data that you’ve gathered over this or other recording seasons. Both organisations will be present on the day to help you input your data online. You just need to bring yourself and your notebooks, sheets of paper or laptop – however it is that you record.

For those of you who have been moth recording, it is particularly important to get your data in to ensure that it is included in the Moth Atlas that runs to the end of this year 2016.

Look forward to seeing you there! Tea/coffee/buns will be provided to keep our energies up. If you have any questions about these events, you can contact Rose Cremin (rcremin@butterfly-conservation.org) or Pauline Campbell (Pauline.campbell@nmni.com).
