Birmingham: UK Butterfly Recorders' Meeting
Saturday 25th March 2017, 10am-4pm
Birmingham And Midland Institute, Central Birmingham

Each year Butterfly Conservation hosts a conference for butterfly recorders in the UK. This meeting is always an interesting day, full of great presentations about butterfly recording, monitoring, conservation and ecology.

The meeting is open to anyone involved in butterfly recording and monitoring and is a great opportunity to mingle with butterfly enthusiasts from around the country.

A key feature of this meeting is always the first public disclosure of results and population trends from the previous year of UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme (UKBMS) monitoring.

This year’s keynote talk will be delivered by Professor Dave Goulson, best-selling author of “A Sting in the Tail”.

The registration fee is £10.00 per person and includes morning tea/coffee and a buffet lunch, all subsidised from Butterfly Conservation budgets.

Venue: The Birmingham & Midland Institute, Lyttleton Theatre (location here, online directions here)
