Come to hear George Tordoff, BC officer for Wales, talk about his adventures surveying lepidoptera
George Tordoff is the Conservation Officer for Wales and can mostly be found out and about surveying beasties. Slightly unconventional in his methods, you may find George several tens of metres up a tree hunting for canopy Lepidoptera, or perhaps up a mountain in the dead of night, hunting for rare Silurian moth caterpillars with a headtorch. An entertaining evening is guaranteed hearing about some of the conservation work and methodsused by Butterfly Conservation Wales.
Everyone is welcome and there’ll be tea/coffee/biscuits to enjoy
