The Woodland Festival Lectures are a day of short talks from leading researchers and scientists who have been working within the Bovey Valley Woods, East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve and across Dartmoor. This will be an opportunity to hear about research being undertaken locally and the contribution that local volunteers are making through their fieldwork. Butterfly Conservation will be giving a talk about their new project ‘All the Moor Butterflies’.
Parking is available in the National Trust car park at Parke. Normal parking charges apply. National Trust members can park for free.
