Join the West Midlands Branch and Worcestershire Wildlife Trust on a work party to remove Mellilot, a highly invasive plant, from Monkwood Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Monkwood is a quarter of a mile north of Monkwood Green, approximately five miles north-west of Worcester.

Meet at 10am in Monkwood car park, Grid ref: SO 804 607, nearest postcode WR2 6NX, about a mile from the New Inn Public House at Sinton Green.

This event is taking place during Big Butterfly Count, the largest insect citizen science project in the world. Why not download an ID chart and take part in a 15-minute count during the event, which runs from 14 July - 6 August? The results help us see how butterflies are faring across the UK.
