Norfolk Brecks for Day-flying Moths

Norfolk Brecks for Day-flying Moths
Wednesday 23rd July 2014
Cranwich Camp and Heath

Following last year’s successful foray into the Brecks, we will again be organising a visit to the newly restored heathland at Cranwich Camp and Heath, excellent sites for several Breck speciality day-flying moths such as Oblique-striped and Marbled Clover, as well as some excellent Breckland flora.  We will also be running several traps the night before which we will open in the car park.  As usual experts will be on hand to help identify moths and plants, so please join us.  With the potential for a stroll in nearby forest walks, this visit may last a few hours, so please bring your own refreshments.

Parking is available at the site which is west of Mundford, south of the A134 at TL775940.
