Meeting place:  The Gearrchoille car park at NH601900 just before entering Ardgay from the south-east.

Description:  Gearrchoille wood is a 30 acre semi-natural ancient broad-leaved, predominantly Oak and Birch, woodland which was gifted to the community by the Balnagown Estate in 2003.  Moth traps will be set up in the wood on Friday night and the contents will be looked at on the Saturday morning 

Approx duration:         Approx. 2-3 hours depending on weather and catch size.

What’s needed:          Footwear and clothing for variable weather.
