Conservation Action Day And Bonfire Lunch!

Join members of the Dorset Branch to help with woodland and scrub management on this beautiful butterfly reserve. Lunch and hot drinks will be served around a nice warm bonfire.

We will continue our work on invasive rhododendron and other scrub, and carry out a peat depth survey at this lovely site inside the Loch Lomond National Park. We are also planning to do some moth-trapping the night before. (N.B. there will be additional workparties here on 18 & 25 October).

Come and help clear pine and install plastic dams on this wonderful lowland peatland! Bring stout boots or wellies, warm clothing and a packed lunch.

Kingshill Local Nature Reserve in Allanton, carrying on with scrub removal on the peat bog and bing slopes there, and maybe installing some plastic dams.
