An event with North Wales Wildlife Trust, walking around this upland bog to hear and hopefully see a Nightjar, followed by moth trapping (if the Nightjars haven’t eaten them all). Uneven, wet paths. Bring a torch and midge repellent!

Glow-worms & Moths of the Great Orme. A guided walk with North Wales Wildlife Trust to learn about these fascinating beetles. The Welsh for glow-worm is Tn Bach Diniwed - Innocent Little Fire. A privileged opportunity to trap for moths at the National Trust’s property, Plas yn Rhiw on Lleyn and perhaps a chance to take part in The Big Butterfly Count when we check the trap the next morning.
