This year we will be holding our National Moth Night event in Martin and Barbara Woodcock’s large and varied private garden near Wiveton.
Norfolk Branch members are helping to lead a walk at 2pm as we join farmer Edward Cross at the Abbey Farm annual Open Day. The walk on this chalk grassland site will last 2 hours.
This is a joint meeting with the Suffolk Branch of BC for Silver-studded Blues.

An all day walk of three to four miles along the rides of the Park and out on to Holt Lowes looking for summer butterflies.
Following last year’s successful foray into the Brecks, we will again be organising a visit to the newly restored heathland at Cranwich Camp and Heath, excellent sites for several Breck speciality day-flying moths such as Oblique-striped and Marbled Clover, as well as some excellent Breckland flora.
Moth traps set the night before will be opened at this nursery and pick-your-own fruit farm.
