Late May to mid June - Visits to Marsh Fritillary sites
During early June, with target dates of 9, 10, 11th. All help and interest is welcome. Last year we set up no less than nine simultaneous moth traps and notched up nearly 200 species in a single evening/night
A chance to see Silver-studded Blue in South Wales. (In the event of wholly unsuitable weather on Sat 25th, the event may be moved to either Sunday 26th or the following weekend).
This is one of several visits which should enable viewing of High Brown and other violet-feeding fritillary butterflies in 2016.
