The YNU are planning a field meeting to Fountains Abbey, 111 years to the day since their visit to the site which is described in The Naturalist from 1905.
Join the Yorkshire Branch on a field trip to Hawnby Hill, where we hope to see Duke of Burgundy and Green Hairstreak butterflies.
If the weather is inclement, the trip will take place on Sunday 15 May.
Join the Yorkshire Branch at this reserve in the heart of Shipley train station, between platforms 2, 5 and the car park. This small urban habitat is being colonised by new species of butterflies, such as Ringlet and Speckled Wood, which are extending their ranges northwards.
