South Wales: High Brown Fritillary In The Alun Valley
Saturday 1st July 2017
Alun Valley

This is one of several visits which should enable viewing of High Brown and other violet-feeding fritillary butterflies in 2017.

The Alun valley (including Old Castle Down & Ogmore Downs which have public access) is the only site currently for this species in Wales and is managed by Butterfly Conservation, using a little contractor time but mostly volunteers.
