Join us on a walk to find Pearl-bordered and possibly Small Pearl-bordered Fritillaries and other spring butterflies, such as Small Heath, Dingy Skipper and Green Hairstreak.

This is a joint event with the Lancashire Branch and Kendal Natural History Society.

Meet at 10am in Warton Quarry car park, Grid ref SD491723, nearest postcode LA5 9NE.


  • In Warton village turn left into Main Street
  • Continue towards the church turning right into Crag Lane
