Northern Ireland: Help with Identification of Difficult and Cryptic Macro-Moths
Saturday 19th August 2017, 10am-4pm
Peatlands Park, Dungannon

This workshop is suitable for moth-ers who have been trapping for at least 2-3 years. We will look at a selection of the more challenging macro-moths, including pugs, some of the 'aggs' species requiring dissection, etc, but this will largely depend on what we catch.

Traps will have been collected by the time the course starts and emptying the traps and recording the moths will be the first task!

The workshop will also discuss species that are either thought to be absent, or are under-recorded in Northern Ireland.
