Surrey Moths

Garden Moth Scheme, Summer 2017

You have until March 27 to register for the 2017 Garden Moth Scheme, which involves trapping moths once a week.

Whether you are a regular recorder, or new to moths, please consider joining the scheme.

The species chosen are easy to identify with the aid of the numerous guides now available.
Regular newsletters show analysis of results across the UK and there are articles of general interest. We have already starting recording (the season starts earlier than for butterflies) but there is still time to get involved this year.
