Sir David Attenborough is calling on the public to help reverse butterfly declines by taking part in the world’s largest butterfly survey. The Big Butterfly Count encourages people to spot and record 18 species of common butterflies and two day-flying moths during three weeks of high summer.

Big Butterfly Hike
Dr Martin Warren, CEO of Butterfly Conservation, will be walking a 100 mile stretch of coastline in just seven days to raise funds to save threatened butterflies. All money raised will go towards Butterfly Conservation projects to save vulnerable colonies of Wood White, Duke of Burgundy and High Brown Fritillary.
