Website praises Butterfly Conservation's clear communication with donors

Butterfly Conservation has been awarded Top Rated Status by charity website Intelligent Giving. The quality of our annual report has secured us a place in the top three percent of UK charities for the third year running.

Intelligent Giving is an independent charity-advisory website, giving potential donors the opportunity to find out more about how the voluntary sector operates. Top rated status is only given to organisations who receive a score of 75 per cent or more for their quality of reporting. Scoring this highly indicates that Butterfly Conservation is one of the most transparent and accountable charities in the country.

There are more than 200,000 charities in the UK. Butterfly Conservation is very proud to be recognised as one of the most honest and efficiently run. We believe it is important our donors know what their contribution helps us to achieve.Intelligent Giving top status

This year 93% of all our expenditure will be on conservation projects, protecting existing habitats and creating new havens for threatened butterflies. See our listing on Intelligent Giving for more information.
