These factsheets are full of information about how to conserve the habitats of endangered butterflies. They are available as downloads by clicking on the relevant species name in the list
The factsheets have been funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs as a resource for land managers and advisors, especially when discussing grants available under the new Environmental Stewardship scheme. Details of Defra's schemes can be found at www.defra.gov.uk/erdp/schemes/es/default.htm. The scheme includes Higher Level Stewardship, which supports management for targeted butterflies, moths and other biodiversity.
