One of the illustrated talks at the Norfolk Branch AGM is 'The Wonder of Butterflies' by Patrick Barkham, well-known author, journalist and butterfly enthusiast.

Learn about volunteering, gardening for pollinators, our photo competition and much more at the Norfolk Butterfly Conservation Branch AGM - everyone is welcome to attend this event. Free parking and refreshments are available!
There will be two talks on the day:
Photographic Competition - basic information (full details can be found in the Norfolk Branch newsletter number 93, Spring 2017). There are two categories with a prize for both winners:
1) British Butterflies and Moths, including immature stages
2) Overseas Butterflies and Moths, including immature stages

Norfolk - Wild About Norfolk

Wild About Norfolk is an annual wildlife and environmental fair showcasing the local groups and national organisations who protect, enhance and restore Norfolk's wildlife and landscape.
Each year Wild About Norfolk attracts over 40 exhibitors and this year Butterfly Conservation's Norfolk Branch will have a stall. Make sure you pay us a visit to find out about what butterflies you can find in Norfolk and how you can help us to protect them.
They have a program of walks and talks and offer lots of activities such as badge making, pebble painting, puppet making, pond dipping, face painting, bird box making, quizzes and bat hat making.There is something for all the family- so whether you want to know how to tackle blanket weed in ponds, have a mushroom identified or learn about what lives at the bottom of your garden – you will find an expert at Wild About Norfolk.

Norfolk: Norwich Illustrated Talk

Everyone is invited to attend this Members Open Evening to show your butterfly, moth and wildlife photos or videos (no sound available) from 2017
A maximum of 30 photos or 10 minutes video please to give everyone a chance. However you may bring along extra blocks and wewill show if there is time.
There is no charge for Butterfly Conservation members. Non-members £2.00.
Refreshments available for a small charge.
The hall is south of the ring road off the A140 Ipswich Road. Access via Lyhart Road.
