Moth Auction

Butterfly Conservation will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018. To mark this occasion, an Atlas of Britain and Ireland’s Larger Moths is being produced and published. This is the first ever complete atlas of Britain and Ireland's larger moths and will provide up-to-date distribution maps and species accounts of almost 900 species.

To help raise funds for the production and publication of the Atlas, moth species are available for exclusive sponsorship via an online auction website. The auction ran in six randomly allocated batches between May and October this year.

All of the remaining un-sponsored moths from these auctions have been relisted for sponsorship for a final time in November at a reduced price.

View the latest auction catalogue for a list of all of the moths still available for sponsorship.

Two auctions will run side by side, split by common name; A-M and N-Z.

If you would like to sponsor a species and have your name or dedication printed in the Atlas within the species account, please view this final auction and bid on the moth you would like:
