Join the Cornwall Branch and All the Moor Butterflies project to carry out a survey of the Pearl-bordered Fritillary on Bodmin Moor. We will be searching sites for this threatened species and counting how many we see. You will get a chance to learn how to identify and survey this beautiful butterfly. We will be searching four local sites for the endangered Pearl-bordered Fritillary and recording all that we see. If you have not seen this butterfly before, this would be a great day to join in with. No experience needed and beginners most welcome.
Meet at the lay-bys near Gam Bridge, Tuckingmill, Nr St Breward, PL30 4PQ. Grid reference: SX090778
Please bring your own lunch and wear outdoor clothing, including strong footwear.
