Discover the amazing diversity of moths and their roles in nature.

Find out how you can take part in this year’s Big Butterfly Count and attract pollinating insects in your own garden too.

Under 18’s must be accompanied.

Event organised with Aberdeenshire Council Ranger Service & Scottish Natural Heritage.

Booking essential.

Meet at 10am at Burn o’ Vat Visitor Centre, near Dinnet, AB34 5NB.

For more information, or to book a place, please contact the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve (NNR) Manager on 013398 81667.

Big Butterfly Count is the largest insect citizen science project in the world. Why not download an ID chart and take part in a 15-minute count during the event, which runs from 14 July - 6 August? The results help us see how butterflies are faring across the UK.
