Volunteers are needed by the Sussex Branch throughout the autumn and winter months for habitat improvement at our Rowland Wood and Park Corner Heath reserves - come along for as much or as little time as you wish.
We meet on the second Sunday of each month, starting at 8.30 am and continuing until lunchtime.
There are plenty of tasks to suit everyone and all help is very much appreciated.
Please wear stout footwear. Tools will be supplied, but please bring gloves and any tea / coffee etc.
The nearest town is Uckfield, and the grid reference for the entrance to the Rowland Wood is TQ516147, nearest postcode BN8 6RD. To reach the site:
- travel through Halland and turn south off the A22 at the Landrover Man into Park Lane
- turn right immediately into small private road
- the entrance is on the right
- the gate will be open, so you can drive into the site and park down the track where there is plenty of space
For more information, or if you would like to attend, please email the Leader, Michael Blencowe: email@example.com.
More information about the reserves can be found here.
