Saturday 1st June 2018 High Brown Fritillary in Alun Valley
This is one of several visits which should enable viewing of High Brown and other violet-feeding fritillary butterflies in 2016. The Alun valley (including Old Castle Down & Ogmore Downs which have public access) is the only site currently for this species in Wales and is managed by Butterfly Conservation, using a little contractor time but mostly volunteers. If you like to join us, please get in touch.
