Gloucestershire: Conservation Work Party
Saturday 17th February 2018, 10.30am-3pm
Strawberry Banks, Oakridge Lynch, east of Stroud

Join the Gloucestershire Branch on a work party at Strawberry Banks, east of Stroud.

This site is mainly known for the Marsh Fritillary butterfly, but also has a wide variety of wild flowers. We shall be clearing scrub to maintain the habitat and its diversity.

Meet at 10.30am at Oakridge Church, Grid ref: SO913034, nearest postcode GL6 7NS. Please park on the road – not the grass.

In the event of bad weather, the event will be postponed until Sunday 18 February.

Work parties are very sociable events to which you can dip in and dip out to suit your availability.

  • We suggest you bring a warm drink, lunch (or not if you want to leave before), warm, waterproof clothes and boots
  • Tools and gloves are provided and you work at your own pace with no pressure

Any help you can give will add to our valuable conservation work for butterflies.
