Dorset: Conservation Action Day

Marsh Fritillary Butterfly
Dorset: Conservation Action Day
Saturday 10th March 2018, 9.00am-4.00pm
Alners Gorse Butterfly Reserve, Hazelbury Bryan, north Dorset

One of our Dorset Events in Butterfly Conservation’s ‘Day of Action’

Join the Dorset Branch on their Alners Gorse Butterfly Reserve, an extremely rich site for all sorts of wildlife, especially butterflies and moths and help with the ongoing woodland and scrub management work to enable the Marsh Fritillary butterfly to re-colonise from nearby sites.

There will be hot drinks and cake; do join us if you can between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm.

Meet at the Reserve entrance on the road from Hazelbury Bryan to Kings Stag, beside the Hazelbury Bryan village sign and 30 mph sign. Park on the wide straight road verge, well away from the dangerous bend, Grid ref: ST736100, nearest postcode DT10 2AU.
