Butterfly Transect Workshop: Aberdeen
Wednesday 21st March 2018, 10am-3pm
Kincorth Community Centre, Aberdeen

Join us for this free workshop to find out how to identify and record butterflies in Aberdeen!

Recording butterflies helps us to understand how their populations are doing. One of the best ways is through transects. Transects are routes which volunteers walk once a week through the summer, recording the butterflies they see. This workshop will show attendees how to identify the butterflies they are likely to see,  and we'll also establish a new transect route at Kincorth Hill.

This event is suitable for all, but children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

When: Wednesday 21st March, 10am-3pm

Where: Kincorth Community Centre, Provost Watt Drive, Aberdeen, AB12 5NA

Booking: to book a free space, email Anthony McCluskey on amccluskey@butterfly-conservation.org , or phone 07730221266 (leave a message if there is no answer and I will get back to you).
