Butterfly Transect Workshop: Perth
Saturday 24th March 2018, 10am-3pm
North Muirton Community Centre, Perth

Join us for this free workshop to find out how to identify and record butterflies in Perth!

Recording butterflies helps us to understand how their populations are doing. One of the best ways is through transects. Transects are routes which volunteers walk once a week through the summer, recording the butterflies they see. This workshop will show attendees how to identify the butterflies they are likely to see, and it's hoped that they will volunteer to walk an existing transect route or establiush their own.

This event is suitable for all, but children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
