All the Moor Butterflies are teaming up with the Wimbleball Lake countryside volunteer team to help increase habitat for Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary. This will involve cutting back encroaching bramble and small trees on the Lakes nature reserve.
Tools, gloves, training, and great lakeside views will be provided! Please bring your own lunch and drink, and wear sturdy boots and old clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
We will be meeting at the Wimbleball Lake Activity Centre for 9.40am for a quick coffee (if needed), before car sharing over to the work site. There is plenty of parking behind the activity centre (its free for volunteers). We will aim to finish by 3.30pm, but if you need to leave earlier, then that is fine too!
If you would like to come along or need more information please get in touch with Megan Lowe by email email@example.com or phone 07827 460767.
