Somerset And Bristol: Exmoor Work Party
Tuesday 28th November 2017, 9.45am-3.30pm
Haddon Hill

Join the All the Moor Butterflies project for a day of pulling and cutting saplings and gorse to help ensure Heath Fritillary continue to thrive at Haddon Hill on Exmoor.

We will be meeting at 9.45am in the Haddon Hill Car Park, Grid ref: SS 97010 28445, nearest postcode  TA4 2DS. From here we will car share to a layby slightly closer to the work site. All are welcome! Tools, gloves and training will be provided.

Please bring your own lunch & drink, and wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Waterproofs and sturdy shoes/boots are recommended.

Volunteers from the South West Lakes Trust will also be joining us so it should prove to be a good fun and rewarding day.

Please note: in the event of bad weather (high winds or extreme rainfall) the work task will need to be postponed. Any news of changes will be posted on this event page, or alternatively contact Megan (details below) if in any doubt.

Any questions please contact Megan Lowe (Community Engagement Officer, Butterfly Conservation) by email mlowe@butterfly-conservation.org or phone 07827 460767.
