Pickering’s Meadow was gifted to the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust in 1984 by Miss E H Pickering and Watts Wood was planted up in the late 1990’s with a mixture of native and foreign trees. Nearby, Monks Wood, Coop Wood and a small meadow were created about ten years ago, so it will be of great interest to see how they are all developing. Additionally, there are several ponds of varying sizes which should be good for dragonflies.
