This gallery includes photos of a number of the pretty Sallows and the ever popular Merveille du Jour.
It also includes an image of the rare Pale-lemon Sallow, which was seen for the fourth time ever in the county on 4th October 2017 by Chris Dobson at Langworth.
The Sallows are followed by some of the other attractive moths associated with Autumn: the well-camouflaged Green-brindled Crescent, the stunning Frosted Orange, a superb photo of a Large Wainscot with beautiful light colours to match, the two sightings in Autumn 2017 of the uncommon Golden Plusia, the Sprawler and others.
We hope you really enjoy this latest Gallery. Many thanks to all who have contributed their excellent photos.
