Butterfly Conservation’s 50th Anniversary Annual General Meeting and Members’ Day 2018 is being held on Saturday 10 November 2018 at The Nottingham Belfry Hotel, Nottingham

All members are welcome and registration commences at 9.30am, with the AGM beginning at 10.05am. For the full agenda, please see the AGM Programme, which you will receive in the post.

As usual, there will be a variety of stalls for you to visit, as well as a raffle from the East Midlands Branch of Butterfly Conservation.

Lunch can be provided at a cost of £10.00 per person, and this includes a jacket potato with a selection of fillings and an assortment of fruit. Tickets are available on the day and must be purchased from the registration desk in the morning. A selection of tea, coffee and biscuits can also be purchased throughout the day at a cost of £3.00.

50th Anniversary Celebratory Dinner

50th Dinner

To celebrate the close of our milestone 50th Anniversary year, we are delighted to invite you to join us with a special dinner in the evening. This will be held in The Trafalgar Suite of the Nottingham Belfry Hotel, at 7.00pm.

We will be joined by guest speaker, Matthew Oates. Matthew is a well-known broadcaster who has made a number of appearances on BBC Radio 4 and TV credits which include The One Show, Springwatch, Great British Summer and Butterflies – A Very British Obsession.

Tickets cost £30.00 per person and include a three-course meal and wine. In keeping with Butterfly Conservation events, the dress code is informal. Tickets can be purchased here and must be bought in advance, by 25 October 2018 at the latest.

From the M1
Leave the M1 at Junction 26, taking the A610 towards Nottingham - staying in the right hand lane. At the roundabout, take the last turning off: the A6002 (Woodhouse Way) to Stapleford/Strelley. At the next roundabout, when you see the hotel on your right, take the last exit into Mellor's Way.

From Nottingham city centre
From the ring road, join the A610 (to M1 north/Eastwod/Ripley). Continue until half a mile from Junction 26 of the M1. At the roundabout, take the second turning: the A6002 (Woodhouse Way) to Stapleford/Strelley. At the next roundabout, when you see the hotel on your right, take the last exit into Mellor's Way.
