Join us on a trip to BBOWT's Homefield Wood Nature Reserve: a small but outstanding reserve, within a larger Forestry England site. The woodland contains a mix of Beech, Ash, Sycamore and Whitebeam, as well as glades and areas of open grassland, and supports a rich and diverse wildlife.

We will explore the rides and open areas for the site's special butterflies. Target species: Silver-washed Fritillary, White Admiral and, maybe, Purple Hairstreak.

Accessibility - undulating, gentle slopes, mainly firm paths and some gates.

Meet at the forestry entrance, where there is limited parking (do not block the gate).
