We need your help to look for butterfly eggs (real eggs or part of the children's spotters trail!) at Bure Park .

The Brown Hairstreak is one of Britain's rarest and most elusive butterflies. It is one of the few butterflies that is easier to find in the egg stage than as an adult. Although the eggs are tiny, they are brilliant white and surprisingly easy to find if you know where to look. Eggs are laid on clean new growth of Blackthorn twigs.

Meet at the Butterfly Conservation gazebo in the field nest to the playground, off Lucerne Avenue, OX26 3EQ
