Join us for an outing to look for butterflies in Dunfermline's Rex Park

During this event we expect to see up to seven different species of butterfly. You will be shown how to identify the different species we come across, and will be given free guides to take away to help you look for butterflies in your own area.

We will follow the route of a butterfly transect in Rex Park. This transect is a fixed route where new volunteers are needed to help us monitor the butterflies through weekly surveys. We hope that some of the attendees will go on to take part in these surveys, but we don't expect everyone to sign up for those.

Where: Rex Park, Dunfermline (meeting point will be sent to anyone who registers)
When: Saturday 14th May, 1pm - 3pm.

Booking is essential: please visit the events booking page here to book your space.

This event is open to all, but if you have any access requirements or queries please contact Anthony on amccluskey@butterfly-conservation.org for more information.

This event is part of the Lyne Burn Project and with Fife Coast and Countryside Trust . This event is also part of the Helping Hands for Butterflies Project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and NatureScot.
