FULLY BOOKED. This event is now fully booked.

Join us in Edinburgh's Saughton Park on Wednesday 18th May between 10am and 3pm to learn how to identify and record butterflies. This in-person workshop will take place entirely outdoors. In the morning we will sit underneath a sheltered area, learning about butterflies and the methods used to identify and record them. We will then go around the park in the afternoon to look for butterflies and their eggs.

This workshop will focus on training volunteers to record butterflies in their local greenspaces using free apps. People of all backgrounds and abilities are welcome, and all paths are fully accessible.

If you have any queries please contact Project Officer Anthony McCluskey on @email

This event is part of the Helping Hands for Butterflies Project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and NatureScot. It is being supported by the Friends of Saughton Park and City of Edinburgh Council.
