Join us for an online workshop in butterfly identification and recording.

This workshop will cover the identification of the common and widespread species found in Scotland, and a description of the methods used to record butterflies with a special focus on the use of the iRecord Butterflies app. It is hoped that participants will go on to send in records of butterflies using apps and websites. These records can inform our conservation work, and we welcome volunteers from all levels of experience.

Booking: Please visit here to book your space. Please only select one date that you would like to attend - the content of each date is identical.

The workshop will run between 10am and noon, with a comfort break between presentations. They will be delivered over an online platform called Zoom, and full instructions will be send to all registered attendees.

This workshops is being delivered as part of the Helping Hands for Butterflies Project which is generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and NatureScot.
