Grayling butterfly are found on many coastal areas especially Tentsmuir in north Fife.
Occasional Grayling have been recorded recently in others parts of Fife, including here in the quarry. This event is to walk an area of suitable habitat to count Grayling in a former working quarry with the site owners.
We will gather at 10:30 at a location to be agreed and walk the site until 14:00.
This event is located in an unused section of a former operational quarry, the site is an easy but moderate walk. Dogs are not permissible on this event. Spaces are limited so please contact the events coordinator to book a place if you intend joining us. Only then will details of the meeting location be provided.
