Calton Hill in the centre of Edinburgh is home to the rare Grayling Butterfly. The wildflower-rich areas these butterflies need are threatened by encroaching trees and shrubs, so we need to undertake work to remove them.

Join us and other volunteers on Wednesday 15th December 2021 to improve the habitat here. It will also be a chance to meet other like-minded people and hear more about our work to conserve butterflies and moths.

All training and tools will be provided, and we can pay your travel expenses to attend. Even if you can only stay for a few hours you would still be welcome to come and help.

Date and time: Wednesday 15th December, 2021, 10am - 3pm.
Location: Calton Hill, Edinburgh. Full directions will be given to anyone who registers.
Booking: booking is essential. Contact Project Officer Anthony McCluskey to book your space: @email
