Bodmin Moor

The Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk-moth was last recorded on Bodmin Moor in 2008. Searches for adult moths have so far been unsuccessful so this year we are focusing on larval surveys.

This workshop is part of a two day dedicated search for this elusive species. Come along to learn more about the Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk-moth and how to survey for it's larvae and habitat suitability. Places are limited and booking is essential. Please note priority will be given to those who can attend both dates (Wed 25th July workshop and Friday 27th July for a search day).

We will be surveying some of the most beautiful sites on Bodmin Moor so there will be plenty of other insects and plants to see and learn about too.

To book and find out more (including meeting point and directions) please contact Jo Poland via the details below.

This event is part of the Heritage Lottery Funded 'All the Moor Butterflies' project.
