Wearing masks should not be necessary during outdoor conservation work but it may still be useful to have your own mask and sanitiser with you just to cover all possible situations. We want you to feel comfortable at this work party.

Meet at 10:00 at the parking place defined by the grid reference. Check the web site for last minute changes. Dress appropriately for Cumbrian weather, boots, waterproofs, warm clothing and, bring lunch and drinks. We supply tools and protective items.

Directions White Scar is located on the south east end of Whitbarrow Scar. From either direction along the A590, turn off this road (from Barrow direction) at the last turning left before or the first turning right after (from Kendal direction) the A5074 Lyth Valley road (SD466852). Take the minor road to Ravens Lodge. Please park considerately at either of the two car parks on the left, SD 4609 8533 sat nav LA8 8EU .
