Meet at 10:00 at the parking place defined by the grid reference.  Check the web site for last minute changes.  Dress appropriately for Cumbrian weather, boots, waterproofs, warm clothing and, bring lunch and drinks.  We supply tools and protective items.

Directions: Turn off A590 at Gilpin Bridge and follow the Lyth Valley road, A5074.  Take first turning left, where the main road bears right. After 500m, turn left into Johnscales and follow the sign to Valley View.  There is a locked gate on right.  Please wait by gate and we’ll offer lifts, up a good forestry road.  Grid reference SD 4627 8671 Sat nav LA8 8DG
