Wearing masks should not be necessary during outdoor conservation work but it may still be useful to have your own mask and sanitiser with you just to cover all possible situations.  We want you to feel comfortable at this work party.

Meet at 10:00 at the parking place defined by the grid reference (please note that the parking area may change-check this site for details).  Check the web site for last minute changes.  Dress appropriately for Cumbrian weather, boots, waterproofs, warm clothing and, bring lunch and drinks.  We supply tools and protective items.

Small scale chain saw work, bow saws and loppers to create a new and more open habitat along a ride to create connectivity between the north-south foot path and Farrer's Allotment

Directions: Turn off A590 at Gilpin Bridge and follow the Lyth Valley road, A5074.  Take first turning left, where the main road bears right.
