The Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project and Butterfly Conservation are joining forces for the day to talk bats and butterflies and detect them around the beautiful gardens at The Garden House, on the edge of Dartmoor. This will be a fun, interesting day and a chance to learn more about the important wildlife in the garden.
Drop in and out of the talks and events on the day. There's no additional charge, access to all the bat and butterfly activities is covered by your usual garden admission fee.
2-4pm Butterfly ID workshop and walk with Megan Lowe of Butterfly Conservation
7pm – Talk about moths
7.30pm - Talk about the Greater Horseshoe Bat project with Helen Parr of Devon Wildlife Trust

9.30-10.30 - Bat detecting & putting out moth traps!
