East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve
Drop in from 10:30am to 4:30pm for this family friendly wild day out at East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve – Yarner Wood. There will be loads to do; go on a minibeast hunt, try pond dipping, take part in hands on activities, make wonderful wildlife crafts, get an experts view of the woods and meet people who are wild about wildlife.
Butterfly Conservation will be there with their 'All the Moor Butterflies' project. Join us for a guided walk to learn more about the Pearl and Small Pearl-bordered Fritillaries that live on the Nature Reserve, or visit our stand for general butterfly info and crafts.
Entry costs £2 per person.
There will be a short 15 min walk from the car park to the activities and opportunities to go for guided walks so please wear sturdy shoes.
