Join Butterfly Conservation and the Sticklepath and Okehampton Conservation volunteers to help manage scrub for rare Fritillary butterflies, including the Pearl-bordered Fritillary.
We will be meeting in Belstone, on the 'Great Green' (parking at SX 61989 93385, near postcode: EX20 1QZ) at 10.30am where we will need to walk a short distance to site. Tools, gloves, and refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own lunch, waterproofs, and plenty to drink. We will be having a bonfire so we advise wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and sturdy boots are essential.
This event is led by the All the Moor Butterflies project. We would appreciate it if you could let us know you are planning on coming so we can ensure we bring enough tools/refreshments. Please contact Megan on the details provided.
In the case of severe weather we may need to cancel. If in any doubt please contact Megan before travelling.
