Join the Dorset and Devon Branches at this joint event near Shaftesbury to find the Silver-spotted Skipper and second brood Adonis Blue

Fontmell is the last Dorset refuge for the Silver-spotted Skipper and offers a great opportunity to study this and other downland specialities like Brown Argus, Chalk Hill Blue and the second brood of Adonis Blue.

Please bring stout footwear and a packed lunch if staying for the afternoon to visit the lower slopes.   

Everyone is to meet 11.00 am at the National Trust car park gate, map reference ST 886 187.
