MOTH TRAPPING AND BIRDSONG AT ALNERS GORSE

NB The setting up of the moth traps on Saturday evening has been cancelled but the birdsong walk goes ahead as planned

Birdsong walk 6.30 - 8.30 am Not quite a dawn walk! but we will meet at 6.30 am at the reserve entrance for a peaceful walk round the reserve to listen to perhaps 30 species of birds including several warblers and our Nightingales. The reserve entrance is on the road from Kings Stag to Hazelbury Bryan beside the Hazelbury Bryan village sign and 30 mph sign. Park on the wide straight road verge on the Kings Stag side of the village sign, well away from the dangerous bend at map reference ST 736 100.
